Three starting-rate examples

These examples are arithmetic illustrations, not customer results or average savings.

  • 50 units of basic FBA prep: USD 39 work minimum. Labels, materials, inspection and freight are separate.
  • 300 prep units + 20 standard sample checks + 1 CBM for 90 days: USD 117 + USD 69 + USD 0 storage = USD 186 before other costs. Keeping the same volume for 120 total days adds USD 12 storage, bringing the subtotal to USD 198.
  • 100 standalone single-item customer orders: USD 69 for standalone first-item pick-pack before postage and extras. Standard picking and packing are already included when using a published Yanwen parcel package.

Compare the same scope with your current quote, rather than comparing a handling rate with a delivered shipping total.

Before you start

Is this a delivered shipping quote?

No. The planner calculates starting service rates and only the optional costs you enter. Blank freight, materials, duty, tax or additional-work fields remain unquoted; they are not treated as free. The final quote confirms scope, quantities and route.

Why is a small FBA prep job not just units multiplied by USD 0.39?

Basic FBA prep starts at USD 0.39 per unit with a USD 39 warehouse work minimum. For example, 50 units have a USD 39 basic-prep subtotal, not USD 19.50. Materials, labels, freight and special work are separate.

What does the dropshipping calculation cover?

It uses the USD 0.69 standalone first-item pick-pack starting rate, excluding postage and extras. Do not add that fee to a published Yanwen parcel rate: standard picking, quantity checks, packing and ordinary materials are already included. Multi-item or custom work still needs a scoped quote.

Can I start with one job and without a payment card?

Yes. Use a free account to organize a product inspection, inbound shipment or fulfillment request. No payment card is needed to register. Standard receiving under an accepted quote has no inbound deposit; approved charges are settled before the related dispatch. Purchases and third-party costs may need earlier funding.

Know the scope before you commit.

Check the service details, costs and policies. Your quote and receiving instructions define the accepted job.
