Before your first job
What does PrepPort Global do?
PrepPort Global supports overseas ecommerce sellers with product sourcing, procurement coordination, product inspection, Amazon FBA prep, receiving, storage and customer-order fulfillment from their China suppliers. Start with one product check or one shipment; your quote defines the accepted work and destination. For incoming goods in the portal, product name and quantity are enough to begin; supplier and customer SKU are optional.

Do I need a subscription or a payment card to start?
You can request a free quote without an account, or create a free account to organize your first job. No payment card is needed to register. The service quote lists the charges for the work you choose; custom integrations and third-party costs are separate unless included in writing.
What do the starting prices include?
Basic FBA prep starts at USD 0.39 per unit, with warehouse work minimums from USD 39. Standalone first-item pick-pack starts at USD 0.69 per order; published Yanwen parcel rates already include standard picking, quantity checks, packing and ordinary materials. Inspection starts at USD 69 for up to 20 standard sample checks, with extra checks from USD 0.30 each. Ordinary storage is free for the first 90 days of each actual receiving batch, then USD 0.40 per CBM per day, with no monthly minimum. Other product, material, freight, duty, tax and special-work costs are separate unless included in your approved quote.

Do I pay before sending goods to the warehouse?
Standard receiving under an accepted quote does not require an inbound deposit. Agreed service charges are settled before the related outbound dispatch. Procurement, custom materials, third-party freight, duty, tax, long-stay storage or unusual-risk work may require earlier funding. No inbound deposit does not mean all warehouse work is free.

What evidence should I expect from an inspection?
Agree the product reference, sample size and checklist first. The agreed report should identify the batch and checked units, show observations and photos for the agreed checks, and record defects, missing checks and any hold or rework recommendation. A standard sample check is not a laboratory certificate, a full-batch AQL inspection or a zero-defect guarantee.
Inspection policy
When does inventory become available to ship?
An inbound shipment lists expected goods; it is not proof of received stock. Available inventory depends on staff-confirmed receiving and any quality holds or reservations. An outbound request still needs an accepted service scope, available stock, required payment and warehouse release. A submitted order or payment screenshot is not proof of dispatch.
Can I create a customer delivery without connecting a store?
Yes. Use your customer workspace to submit the recipient address, SKU quantities and shipping requirements, or use a supported CSV import. Native store connections need authorization, SKU mapping and a successful end-to-end test for that store. API documentation and a CSV template do not mean every marketplace has a live native connection.

How much will I save?
Savings depend on the same product, work scope, order volume and shipping route. Compare an itemized current quote with an itemized PrepPort quote. Website examples are illustrations, not a measured customer average or guaranteed saving; include materials, freight, duty and tax on both sides.
