PrepPort Global / Supplier-side operations

Help with sourcing, inspection & shipping

Already have a supplier? Starting with a new product? Choose the task you need. You can begin with one job and add other services later.

For overseas-operated sellers and brands working with China suppliers. Not a US domestic warehouse or a two-day delivery promise.

Product sourcing & purchasing

Who can find suppliers and compare quotes for my first product?

PrepPort can help overseas sellers turn a product link, specification or reference into a sourcing request. Compare the same model, quantity, materials, minimum order, sample cost and lead time before deciding. Product costs, sample delivery and sourcing fees are separate and quoted by project. An inquiry does not authorize a purchase. Start with one product reference and an approximate quantity; supplier checks, final scope and approved funding come before purchasing.

Can I keep my own supplier and ask PrepPort to handle the purchasing work?

Yes. Share your existing supplier and product reference rather than searching a new catalog. PrepPort can scope supplier coordination, purchasing support, receiving and optional inspection around that product. Confirm the specification, unit price, quantity, timing and responsibilities before purchase. A sourcing request is not a payment or a supplier order, and onward freight is separate unless explicitly included in the quote. You can add FBA prep or customer-order fulfillment after the goods are accepted.

Product quality inspection

How can I check a supplier batch before paying for overseas shipping?

Agree the product reference, sample count and checklist before inspection. PrepPort warehouse checks can document visible condition, agreed counts, labels, accessories and packaging with photos and findings for your decision. Standard warehouse sampling starts at USD 69 for up to 20 standard sample checks; additional standard checks start at USD 0.30 each. Factory visits, laboratory tests, certification and a full-batch AQL program are separate scopes. A sample result is not a guarantee for every unit or a legal compliance certificate.

What happens when an inspection finds defects or incorrect labels?

Keep the finding tied to the product and batch, record the agreed checks and missing evidence, and decide whether the affected goods need correction, more inspection, supplier return or shipment. Photos alone do not approve a release or prove an unperformed test passed. PrepPort scopes extra work and its cost before carrying it out. Provide your acceptance criteria and identify who can approve the next step. Refunds, compensation, certification conclusions and supplier settlement are not automatically authorized by an inspection finding.

Amazon FBA preparation

Can my supplier send goods for FNSKU labeling and Amazon FBA preparation?

Use a confirmed inbound reference and your Amazon shipment instructions to scope receiving, FNSKU labels, ordinary prep, carton preparation and freight handoff. Basic prep starts at USD 0.39 per unit, with warehouse work minimum from USD 39. Labels, materials, inspection, bundles, rework and freight are separate unless quoted as included. You supply the correct seller-account labels and destination instructions. PrepPort is not Amazon and does not guarantee appointment availability, customs clearance or Amazon acceptance.

Can I combine goods from multiple suppliers before shipping to FBA or my warehouse?

Supplier shipment consolidation brings separate incoming batches into one receiving plan while keeping supplier, SKU and batch identities distinct. After actual receipt, review quantities and any exceptions, then agree whether goods should wait, be repacked, be inspected or leave together. PrepPort can scope an onward shipment to FBA, your warehouse or a nominated destination. Consolidation does not mean reducing your supplier list, mixing product identities or resetting storage age. Handling, packing and freight need confirmation; combining cartons is not a guaranteed saving.

Drop shipping & order fulfillment

Can I use my own supplier and stock for dropshipping instead of a product catalog?

Yes. Start with your products and supplier rather than selecting from a marketplace catalog. Send stock with an inbound reference; inventory is available for fulfillment only after the warehouse confirms receipt. A customer order needs a SKU, quantity, recipient address and an eligible shipping option. Optional packaging or printed inserts can be added. Published Yanwen parcel prices already include picking, quantity checks, standard packing and ordinary materials, so an included pick-pack fee must not be added again. Final weight is measured by staff.

Can I request fulfillment for Shopify, eBay, Etsy or WooCommerce orders?

The warehouse task is based on the product, quantity and destination, not just the storefront name. Confirm the accepted manual, file-import or API workflow for each channel before relying on it. Native connections need authorization, SKU mapping and production testing; PrepPort does not claim that every marketplace is already automatically synchronized. Keep a unique order reference to avoid duplicate dispatch and review stock, payment and shipment exceptions. You can begin with a supported manual order without first moving every store connection.

Receiving & inventory storage

Can I send a small first batch without paying for a warehouse subscription?

Create a free account and confirm the receiving instructions for your stock. Register an inbound shipment so staff can match parcels to your customer reference and SKU list; expected inventory is not received inventory. Sending goods to the warehouse does not itself require payment, but paid services and onward dispatch follow approved scope and payment requirements. Each actual receiving batch gets 90 calendar days free storage, then USD 0.40 per CBM per day using verified stored-unit volume, with no monthly storage minimum or peak-season surcharge.

Can I move stored goods to another destination or request disposal?

You can request stock removal to a nominated eligible destination or ask for disposal of eligible ordinary goods. Identify the exact SKUs and quantities, review the quote and give explicit approval before staff execute the request. Standard disposal reference pricing is USD 0.20 per unit with a USD 2 minimum; restricted, hazardous or special-handling items need separate review. A disposal request is not proof that goods were destroyed. Removal, storage and freight costs remain distinct, and batch age is not reset by relabeling or repacking.

Packaging, labels & printed inserts

Can the warehouse supply dust bags, labels and custom packaging for my orders?

PrepPort normally supplies dust bags and scopes suitable fit after reviewing the product. New custom boxes and mailers are produced and supplied through PrepPort rather than delivered by customers. Share a design or requirement, then confirm the material, quantity, minimum production batch, proof, lead time and quote. Branding and specialized protection are optional extra work; ordinary packing remains included in the published Yanwen parcel price. A selected extra is a request, not production approval or proof that material stock is available.
